Homilies [microform], 1788-1789.

Manuscript in two related parts, foliated separately. First part (leaves 1-23): Encomium and list of homilies. Second part (leaves 1-394): 91 homilies of St. Isaac of Syria, translated from a Greek translation (the language of the originals being Syriac). Various additional texts begin on leaf 356b: 58th passage ("zachalo") according to St. John; leaf 361a, homily to Proabbot Leontius about the holy fathers in the skete and reasoning, by Cassian "the Roman". Leaf 376a, excerpts from the Pandects by Nikon, monk of Raithu (Chernogorat︠s︡). Leaf 378a, subject-thematic index relating to the professing of the Orthodox faith. Leaves 23-23b, colophon with a Prayer to St. Jeremiah (Jefrem), and an inscription about the copying of the first portion of the manuscript, with the date of copying, 1788, and scribes̀ name.
